I’m Amanda, a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor based in Abbotsford, BC, working with clients in person and across Canada online. I’m warm, direct, and real, and sessions with me feel more like a deep, meaningful conversation than anything clinical or cold. I ask good questions, I notice things, and clients often tell me they felt comfortable and opened up faster than they ever expected to. That’s not by accident. That’s the relationship we build together, and it matters just as much as any approach we use.

My focus is on trauma, PTSD, and attachment and relational wounds, the kind that quietly shape how you see yourself, how you love, how you trust, and why certain patterns keep pulling you back no matter how hard you try to move forward. I’ve walked through my own deep healing in these exact areas, and that lived experience isn’t just part of my story. It’s what allows me to sit with you in your hardest moments and understand, not just professionally, but personally, what it truly feels like from the inside.

Brainspotting is a gentle, brain-body therapy that helps you process and release what talk therapy sometimes can't reach. Using a specific eye position, we locate where stress, trauma, or emotional pain is stored in the brain and body, and support your nervous system in healing it naturally. No need to find the perfect words. Your brain already knows how to heal; brainspotting simply helps it do that.
