I am Amanda, a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor based in Abbotsford, BC, working with clients in person and across Canada online. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and the kind of deep emotional pain that shapes how you see yourself, how you love, and why certain patterns keep pulling you back no matter how hard you try to move forward.

 

I am warm, direct, and real. Sessions with me feel more like a deep, meaningful conversation than anything clinical or cold. I ask good questions, I notice things, and clients often tell me they felt comfortable and opened up faster than they ever expected to. That is not by accident. That is the relationship we build together, and it matters just as much as any approach we use.

 

Alongside counselling, I am trained in Brainspotting and Hypnotherapy. These are approaches that go beyond insight and help your brain and body actually heal, not just cope. If you have tried talk therapy before and felt like something was still missing, this might be why. We go at your pace, always.

 

I work with clients in person in Abbotsford, BC and online across Canada. If you have been putting off reaching out because you are not sure online therapy would feel real or personal enough, I hear that. And I want you to know that some of my most meaningful sessions happen online. You can do this from your own couch, in your own space, wherever feels safe and comfortable for you. That matters.

Clinical hypnotherapy is a safe, guided process that uses deep relaxation to reach the subconscious mind where real, lasting change happens. Brainspotting

Certified Brainspotting Practitioner Phase 1:

Trainings through Pacific Brainspotting Training

Brainspotting is a gentle, brain-body trauma processing therapy that helps you process and release what talk therapy sometimes can't reach. Using a specific eye position, we locate where stress, trauma, or emotional pain is stored in the brain and body, and support your nervous system in healing it naturally. No need to find the perfect words. Your brain already knows how to heal; brainspotting simply helps it do that.
